Biography

Tim started playing the guitar at age 5 and has been in music ever since. In high school he was a member of the District I Band and Jazz Band, and was named Lead Tenor Sax for the KMEA All-State Jazz Band in 1982. His college studies ended in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was a member of the TV Orchestra for Richard Roberts and Oral Roberts Ministries.

After graduating, Tim moved to the Dallas, Texas area where he continued to perform with groups like the Cavalcade of Stars www.talentbookingusa.com, Brent Rozell and the Soulmates www.brentrozell.com, and other groups.

Tim has been back in the Kansas City area since 2003 and currently performs almost every Saturday night at Tasso's Greek Restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri, is a lead guitarist for Life Church in Olathe, Kansas www.getlife.info, with the Cavalcade of Stars based in Dallas, Texas www.talentbookingusa.com , with Max Groove www.maxgroove.com, with Flashback- a local classic rock band, and the Smokey Robinson tribute band- Bake and the Tenderheartswww.bakeandthetenderhearts.com. Check out Max Grooves' new Cd "Night Owl". Tim co-wrote the title cut with Max and appears on "Love's Waiting" from that Cd- featuring Tim's soprano. Tim's latest recording was with the famous surfer Titus Kinimaka on his Cd titled "Full Circle" available now at www.amazon.com. Good friends like Matt Bolton www.myspace.com/mattboltonkauai and Vito Truglio appear on the Cd as well. "Full Circle" was nominated for Contemporary Album of the Year for the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in Honolulu on June 9, 2009. Although we did not win the award, what an honor to be a finalist with over 350 Cd's entered! Way to go Titus and team! Let's do it again!
